Job Summary:

Portfolio Managers are responsible for contributing to the investment performance of Trillium by constructing, monitoring and marketing sustainable and responsible equity strategies with the assistance of Trillium’s team of equity and ESG research analysts, and Advocacy specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Trillium domestic equity strategies.
  • Acts independently within established Trillium investment process for portfolio construction and sustainable and responsible stock selection, including primary responsibility for compliance with strategy risk parameters and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly and effectively interacts with the equity and ESG research analysts, and advocacy specialist teams on bottom-up idea generation, diligence, and ongoing assessment of active holdings.
  • Engage with clients, prospects, and consultants to articulate investment philosophy, performance, and market outlook, supporting sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Provides mentorship to research analysts.
  • Represent the firm in industry conferences, media engagements, and client events to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with senior members of the investment team on enhancements to the firm’s investment processes as necessary.
  • Reports to the firm’s Chief Investment Officer.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of industry experience, including expertise in bottom-up, sector based primary equity research, portfolio construction and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience in sustainable and responsible investing• CFA charter holder.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven collaboration skills and genuine interest in working in a team environment.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, FactSet and MSCI applications.
