Dear U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator and Members of Congress,

Years before Sam D’Amore made her mark in the world of sustainable investing, she was a student at Harvard cutting her teeth in physics. It’s not the typical path traveled by most financial professionals, but the experience would shape her future purpose.

Years before Sam D’Amore made her mark in the world of sustainable investing, she was a student at Harvard cutting her teeth in physics. It’s not the typical path traveled by most financial professionals, but the experience would shape her future purpose.

“In my younger days, I was convinced I was going to solve the world’s problems,” says Sam, who studied sustainable energy and later was introduced to equity research. It was a smooth segway into a successful financial career. “The framework, the training, and the educational perspective I had at Harvard, I use almost every day.”

Today, as a Portfolio Manager for @TrilliumAssetManagement, Sam blends her academic background with global experience, seeking to drive momentum in sustainable investing.

She remains focused on advocating for Trillium’s portfolio companies and channeling investments to create positive, long-lasting change.

“I think it’s the right thing to do — from an asset perspective, from an investment perspective, and from my personal values perspective,” Sam adds.
