Blaine is a portfolio manager, research analyst and manager of our California office. Prior to joining the firm in September of 1996, he worked for the San Francisco political consulting and communications firm, Staton, Hughes & Shafer. He was assistant to the Executive Director of Earth Day 1990, and the Assistant Director of Marketing and Social Research for the Muir Investment Trust - the first socially-screened municipal bond fund. Blaine was on the Board of Lighthawk from 1998 to 2001, and served as Chair from 2000 to 2001. He received his B.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley and achieved the designations of Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) from the Investment Management Consultant Association (IMCA).
