Adam joined Trillium Asset Management Corporation in 2004, and is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In addition to overseeing our investment process and chairing the Asset Allocation Committee, he is involved in portfolio management, equity research and the quantitative support of investment processes. Prior to joining the firm Adam was Chief Global Strategist for Deutsche Asset Management in London, where he led a team responsible for over £40 billion in client assets. He also has experience as an analyst and portfolio manager at Wellington Management, and was the Director of Strategic Research for John Hancock’s Investment and Pension Group. Adam holds a Ph.D. in economics from Boston University and early in his career was an assistant professor of Economics at Wellesley College. He has published a variety of books and articles on economics, finance and public policy, and has spoken widely on these issues. Adam is a Trustee of the Hyams Foundation, which is dedicated to increasing economic and social justice and power within low-income communities in the Boston area. He became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1993.
