Lauren McLean

Assistant Portfolio Manager

Lauren joined Trillium Asset Management Corporation (”Trillium”) in late 2006 and is an assistant portfolio manager in the Boise office. Prior to joining Trillium, Lauren directed a statewide ballot initiative campaign to increase public school funding in Idaho. From 2002-2005 Lauren directed the Community Conservation Program at the Idaho Conservation League. She worked in communities around the state with citizens directly impacted by air and water pollution, lobbied the legislature on environmental issues, and work with state agencies on air and water policy. She also worked as a political consultant in various local campaigns and managed a successful open space levy campaign in 2001. Lauren serves as a volunteer member of the Boise City Planning and Zoning Commission, and has served on numerous community boards including four years (one as President) on the Boise Parks and Recreation Commission. Lauren currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Conservation Voters for Idaho, a statewide conservation organization working to elect pro-conservation candidates to office, and to hold elected officials accountable for their votes (conservationvotersforidaho.org). Also the Community Advisory Board of Boise State Radio, Southwestern Idaho’s public radio. Lauren earned a BA cum laude in the Program of Liberal Studies and French from the University of Notre Dame, and an MPA from Boise State University.
