Shareholder Resolutions Filed by Trillium Asset Management Corporation (“Trillium”)

Each year, socially and environmentally concerned investors file dozens of shareholder proposals on a wide range of topics. To file a proposal (also called a resolution), a shareholder must be a long-term holder (one year or more) of at least $2,000 worth of a company’s stock. Environmental and social shareholder proposals have been getting record votes in recent years. Even though most resolutions don’t gain a majority vote, they often have dramatic impact in influencing corporate managers and spotlighting media attention on important issues. Below are the shareholder resolutions Trillium has filed over the past several years.
